Drill into a month
Select a month to focus the chart on it. You have two ways to select:- Click the month’s bar in the chart.
- Choose the month from the Month picker in the chart header.
The chart announces the selected month through a live region, and the Month picker supports keyboard and touch selection, so the drill-down works with a screen reader.
Month-detail band
A fixed-height detail band sits below the monthly chart. Its contents change with your selection.Resting month-over-month table
When no month is selected, the band shows a table of every month. Each row lists the month with leader dots, the month-over-month (MoM) percentage change against the prior month, and a marker on months whose spend is estimated.Selected-month provider split
When you select a month, the same grid shows that month’s spend split across providers, such as Anthropic and OpenAI.Date-range stepper
Each chart and breakdown card names the window its numbers cover in a pill in its header. On this page that pill is also the control: use its arrows to move the window through time without reopening the Time Window filter.- The Back arrow shifts the window earlier by its own length, so a
Jul 20 – Aug 18window steps back toJun 20 – Jul 19. Adjacent windows tile with no overlap and no skipped days. - The Forward arrow shifts it later by the same length, and is disabled once the next window would run past today. Windows are UTC calendar days, so the limit is today in UTC rather than in your own timezone.
- Stepping forward onto a preset’s own window restores that preset rather than leaving the page on a custom range covering the same days.
The same pill appears on Insights & Usage, where it is a label rather than a control — that page has no stepper arrows.
